No-Credit-Check Hybrid Cellular Products

Whether you are already an independent wireless retailer or are thinking of adding cellular products to your small business, Drive Mobile represents the best, no risk business opportunity in the United States.

The residual income potential afforded to authorized Drive Mobile retailers is tremendous and the upfront profit potential at the initial point of sale isn’t shabby, either.  The typical Drive Mobile retailer nets between $40 and $80 when they initially sign a new subscriber.  Additionally, a Drive Mobile retailer nets an average of $10 for each subscriber for every month their account remains active.  When you do the math, any business would profit by offering Drive Mobile cellular products.

From the customer perspective, Drive Mobile features the best possible nationwide coverage of any cellular product in America.  The calling plans and available features are second to none, as well.  Text messaging bundles, Data/Broadband packages and voice plans with nights & weekends (nights starting at 7 pm, M – F) allow Drive Mobile to appeal to the largest number of potential consumers.

No cellular brand is more “retailer friendly” than Drive Mobile, either.  Because Drive Mobile requires no credit check, every customer who walks into your place of business is a potential subscriber.  Drive Mobile retailers have access to a state of the art online activation & replenishment portal that is very user friendly.  To activate a new account takes from 3 to 5 minutes, start to finish, and requires little more than a few clicks of a mouse.

What follows is a detailed look at Drive Mobile.  This is quite a long read, as there is much to be said about this company, their products and the way Drive Mobile does business.  You might want to bookmark this page so that you may return when you have time to read it thoroughly.

Who They Are.

Drive Mobile is a private label cellular brand, formed in partnership between Upstate Technologies and Telspace, Inc.

The principal owners of Upstate Technologies (based in South Carolina with offices in Tennessee) have been developing and marketing quality pre-paid/no-credit-check services in the southeastern United States since the late 1990’s.  They launched Drive Mobile in conjunction with Telspace, Inc. in 2006 to expand Upstate Technologies existing communications division.

Telspace, Inc. is a Mobile Virtual Network Enabler based in Redmond, Washington.  Telspace enables its clients to open wireless dealerships using a world class back office infrastructure to sell, provision, fulfill, and care for multiple telecom services. Those services include billing software, pre and post paid cellular.

As a result of these two great companies getting together, a suite of unique cellular products emerged under the Drive Mobile banner.

Why Drive Mobile can be a good fit for your business.

The people behind the development of Drive Mobile actually owned independent retail cellular outlets for several years.  Drawing from their own experiences where the rubber meets the road, Upstate Technologies developed a hybrid cellular product tailor-made to fit the needs of the independent wireless retailer.

Everything from the product offering and compensation to the online operating system was fashioned with an eye toward small businesses.  When considering whether to represent a product or service in your small business, it helps to know that the folks behind that product or service have been where you are.

The Product.

Drive Mobile's flagship is their Drive CDMA product line.  Drive CDMA is a hybrid cellular service which takes many of the features associated with a post-paid (contract/credit-check) calling plan and offers them to the consumer without a credit check or contract required.

The first thing that jumps out at you when comparing the Drive CDMA product against the competition is the stark contrast and superiority of the wireless coverage.  (Depicted below.)

(Drive CDMA Cellular Coverage.)

When compared side-by-side against any competitor, especially another no-credit-check product, the Drive CDMA coverage map is shockingly superior.  If you have an independent wireless business in a somewhat rural area, Drive CDMA may be the ONLY no-credit-check product with sufficient coverage in your market.

We have found the signal quality of Drive CDMA to be vastly superior, as well.  Our staff has made crystal clear phone calls from inside hotel elevators, metal buildings, enclosed basement parking garages and extremely remote construction sites.  In many instances, we have made calls using Drive CDMA while subscribers of another service looked on in amazement (as they had little or no signal standing right beside us.)  Providing outstanding coverage and a good quality signal is job number one for any cellular service and Drive CDMA certainly gets the job done in this regard.

Drive CDMA calling plans and features, from top to bottom, comprise the most comprehensive line-up of any no-credit-check cellular service in the industry.  There are service providers who hang their hat on one or two outstanding features, but Drive CDMA offers something for every type of user.  No matter what a prospective subscriber is looking for, Drive CDMA has a calling plan or feature to fit their need.  Essentially, Drive Mobile retailers have the flexibility to tailor-make an affordable wireless plan for every customer type they encounter.

If you are committed to winning, Drive CDMA is the wireless product you need.

Drive CDMA nationwide voice calling plans start as low as $9.99.  Text messaging, picture messaging, broadband access, mobile to mobile calling and unlimited nights & weekends (with weeknights starting at 7 pm) give a retailer every tool necessary to succeed.  Drive CDMA combines great calling plans and features with the best coverage possible.  This combination makes Drive CDMA a downright lethal competitor in any market.

Drive Mobile retailers are afforded tremendous operational flexibility.

Having owned and operated independent wireless retail stores, the Drive Mobile team started development with a sort of “retailer’s wish-list” in mind.  In addition to fashioning a product offering which would appeal to the broadest spectrum of end-users, Drive Mobile wanted to address several of the obstacles that inhibit growth from a retailer perspective.

Operationally, the first order of business for Drive Mobile was to simply “stay out of the way” as much as possible.  Realizing that the first thing a good retail outlet needs is the freedom to “do their thing,” Drive Mobile embraced a strategy of placing very few restrictions on how their product is marketed and delivered.  As a result, Drive Mobile retailers enjoy considerable operational liberties not afforded their competitors.

Authorized Drive Mobile agents are allowed to purchase compatible handset inventory from any wholesale source they wish.  There are hundreds, maybe even thousands, of wholesalers of cellular handsets operating within the United States and Drive Mobile retailers can shop them all.

The list of handset models compatible with Drive CDMA service is virtually endless, as well.  An authorized Drive Mobile agent can stock his store in whatever manner he/she sees fit.  In addition, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to stock your store with a good selection.  Most retailers can spend less than $500 and offer their customers a fine selection of handsets to choose from.

Once the retailer has his/her desired inventory in stock, they simply load the handset ESN into the Drive Mobile operating system and activate them on demand, in real time.

The handset activation process is a snap, as well.  Drive Mobile agents are provided access to probably the most user-friendly point of sale operating system in the wireless industry.  To activate a handset requires little more than a few clicks of a mouse and the activation process takes 3 – 5 minutes, start to finish.

It doesn’t stop there.  Service after the sale is very important to any retailer and Drive Mobile excels in this regard.  In addition to providing outstanding customer and dealer support, Drive Mobile allows it’s retailers to perform 90% of necessary customer service functions on their own.  When an existing customer visits a Drive Mobile location with an issue of some type, the retailer can handle the situation from their Drive Mobile portal in just a few seconds in almost every instance.

If a customer loses his handset and wishes to suspend service until the handset is located, a Drive Mobile retailer can pull up the account, push a button and disable the line.  (The retailer can also restore service in the same manner.)

Swapping handsets, changing mobile numbers, pulling up detailed call reports and (most importantly) processing customer payments are a snap.  These functions are at a Drive Mobile retailer’s fingertips and are processed in real time, without the need to dial an 800 number and hold for assistance.

Showing you the money.

One of the great things about being a Drive Mobile authorized agent is the fact that you are never waiting to be compensated.  Drive Mobile retailers collect their profit in cash, up front, before they perform a transaction.

Drive Mobile essentially "wholesales" their airtime to Drive Mobile retailers ON DEMAND.  When signing up a new subscriber, Drive Mobile retailers tabulate their wholesale cost for the handset, calling plan and features a customer wants, then determines what retail price will be.

For example, if the wholesale cost for a handset, plan and features is $53 you can charge $59.99.  You can charge $89.99, $99.99 or $129.99.  It’s up to you.  Collect the cash, push a couple buttons and move on to the next customer.  It’s just that simple.

The profits don’t stop there.  Because Drive Mobile airtime is not available in every gas station, convenience store or big box retail outlet in your area, your new Drive Mobile subscriber will almost certainly return to your location to refill over and over again.  Sales data gathered from mid-2006 through the end of 2008 revealed that more than 97% of active Drive Mobile subscribers replenished their account at the original retail location where they signed up.

Combine this 97% rate of return with an average retailer net profit of $10 when processing replenishments and the value of making Drive Mobile a part of your small business increases exponentially.

Taking into account all the necessary factors when deciding which product or service should become a part of your business, Drive Mobile is the safest, surest choice in the cellular industry.
